Why Choose Gentle Paws Walking?

Choosing a dog walker is a big decision. After all, you are trusting someone with your beloved pet. At Gentle Paws Walking, we make that choice easier by offering a service built on trust, safety, and genuine care.

My name is Emma Gentle, and I started Gentle Paws Walking in 2025 after many years of dreaming about a career working with dogs. Having left my role in HR, I now provide full-time dog walking services that focus on the wellbeing of each dog in my care. I am fully insured and trained in Level 2 Dog First Aid, ensuring that your dog is in safe and capable hands.

Flexible Dog Walking & Drop-In Services to Suit You

Every dog is different, and so are your needs as a pet owner. That’s why I offer a flexible range of services including solo walks, group walks, and drop-in visits  –  tailored to your dog’s personality, energy level, and your schedule.

All new dogs are welcomed with a friendly meet and greet to get to know them, assess their needs, and ensure a comfortable fit – especially if group walks are being considered.

Solo Dog Walks

Perfect for dogs who thrive with one-to-one attention, are in training, older, or simply enjoy a quieter pace. These walks are fully personalised and allow me to follow your dog’s routine closely, ensuring comfort, familiarity, and individual care.

Group Dog Walks - Gentle Paws Walking

Group Dog Walks

Group Dog Walks

Ideal for sociable dogs who love canine company. Group walks are carefully matched based on temperament, size, and energy level to create a fun, safe, and structured environment.
I keep groups small so every dog gets the attention and supervision they need while enjoying playful and enriching social time.

Drop-Ins

Drop-In Visits

Drop-ins are a great option if your dog just needs some company, a toilet break, or feeding while you’re away for a few hours. Whether it’s a puppy needing lunchtime cuddles and play, or an older dog who prefers staying home but needs checking in on.
These visits are short, flexible, and tailored to meet your dog’s specific needs in the comfort of their own home.

How much does a dog walker cost?

Prices depend on the type of walk (solo or group), length of time, and your location. Please contact us for a personalised quote.

Do you walk dogs in the rain?

Yes. Dogs need consistent exercise, so we walk in all weather unless it’s unsafe (e.g. storms or extreme heat). We dry off muddy paws afterwards.

u

Can I book regular or ad-hoc walks?

We offer flexible options for both regular and one-off bookings, depending on your schedule.

Get In Touch

All dogs are subject to a meet and greet initially to ensure suitability for walking – whether solo or potentially in a group. This also gives me the chance to meet you, the owner, and fully understand your dog’s individual needs and routine.

Whether you’re interested in regular walks or occasional drop-in visits, I’d love to learn more about how I can help.
